An Infographic About IP Voice - Yes it's on the Rise

Infographics…they do such a good job describing what we already know, or have long suspected. If I had any design skills, I’d create a lot of them.

A new infographic from Axvoice takes a look at the state of telephony in the United States and confirms:

  • Traditional landline telephony is being phased out
  • Mobile phones, while rising in popularity, are becoming more expensive now that they have become mini computers
  • IP Voice (VoIP) is on the rise because it is the most cost effective method of voice communication

Kerio Control Box and Outstanding Partner Support – A Rip and Replace Story

The phrase “rip and replace” gets thrown around quite a bit in the tech industry. Heck, we even built a Facebook contest around it.

R&R (my acronym) always conjures thoughts of pulling out an aging or sub-optimal solution that is on the verge of a literal meltdown, and putting in the newest, shiniest offering on the market that practically prints ROI dollars for the user.

Time to Drop Dropbox?

When first describing our file collaboration product Kerio Workspace to people, I sometimes hear, "You mean it's like Dropbox?" I then have to explain the myriad of things that Workspace does in addition to sharing files.

Openness and Kerio Unity

Developer Zone, Administration API, Kerio Directory… what do they have in common? It is openness, a quality I prefer both as a programmer and as a human, and a quality that we want to deliver with our products.

Kerio products have always been well-known for being open – supporting a number of platforms and protocols, and allowing you to run them with various clients, devices and third-party applications. Even though it’s not always the easiest way, we believe it brings value to our customers and partners, and thus it’s simply the right thing to do.

Important Product News:

Today (April 12), Microsoft updated Office for Mac 2011 to version 14.2.0 (also labeled as Service Pack 2). This update affects Outlook 2011 and it is not yet supported by Kerio Connect. We recommend that customers do not install this update yet.

If you already have installed the update, you’ll need to remove Microsoft Office directory from the Applications folder and re-install Microsoft Office for Mac from original medium.

A Kerio Partner's Perspective on Kerio Workspace

As a PR contact for Kerio, one of my favorite parts of the role is talking with partners and customers to gather information for potential case studies and press interviews. It's often an eye opening experience to hear how they view our products compared to the competition, and to hear what features they like and don't like.

Developers on the Edge

Kerio Developer Zone

Welcome to our kitchen - Meet the Developer Zone.

Developers develop, Sales sell, Support support. All this must work together without a single hitch. Before a product gets into the box ready for download, it must go quite a long way. You have been there. Someone has to write it, test it, build it, document it, polish it.
